Vita Green was established in 1993 and today has 250 staff with two pharmaceutical factories, six overseas offices and 10 specialty shops. Over the last ten years, Vita Green has added a variety of new products to satisfy the changing health concerns of our customers, including the Doctor’s Choice vitamins and supplement series, which won the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Gold Award consecutively for 3 years in the health supplement category. Our factories in Hong Kong and Guangxi have been certified with the GMP award by the authorities (Good Manufacturing Practice), to certify that the whole manufacturing process is carried out under rigorous controls and the finished products meet the most stringent of standards. Our GMP certificates are reviewed each year to maintain strict standards, allowing us to offer products of consistently high quality, year after year. To maintain the quality of our products, the collected herbs are first tested, cleansed and prepared in our Guangxi factories and then extracted and concentrated into powder which is transferred to our factory in Ap Lei Chau, Hong Kong, for encapsulation and packaging. All our products are sent to independent laboratories for testing to ensure safety and quality.

All areas in the factory are monitored by computerised systems 24 hours a day to ensure that the environment is immaculately clean, protecting our products from contamination by impurities. A specially designed air-conditioning system keeps the atmosphere stable and clean, maintaining optimum air temperature, humidity and purity, and keeping the airflow inside the production chambers uni-directional to avoid cross contamination between different batches of herbs. All air duct systems have separate filters and every corner is sealed with aluminium plates in order to keep the manufacturing environment free from dust and bacteria.
